GMA Winter/Spring 2017 Line-Up Announced!

The GMA is alive with entertainment over the next several months with a multitude of performances coming to Greenville.

6 – Greenville Entertainment Series presents Victoria Banks. Victoria is one of the most respected country artists in the Canadian music industry. “Songs and Stories for the Soul” is a collection of the greatest female hits of all time!

16 – Greenville Entertainment Series presents MercyMe. Part of the MercyMe Texas Takeover Tour, this show is sure to be a huge night of entertainment! NOTE that this is not included in the GES Series Subscription.

4 – Greenville Entertainment Series presents Birth of the Beat. Celebrate that birth of blues, Broadway, jazz, movie musicals and more. A musical journey through breathtaking scenery and costumes, and a song and dance spectacular.

9 – Dallas Symphony Series presents The Classics. Your favorite orchestral melodies will come to life under the direction of Assistant Conductor Ruth Reinhardt. Delight in the works you know and love!

18 – Texas Country Gospel Concert Series featuring Barbara Fairchild. Some of the biggest names in Country Gospel present an inspiring show! Featuring Barbara Fairchild & Roy Morris, Gena Roberts Hamilton & The Trophies Band, Terry Davis, and Marli Humphrey.

24 – Greenville Entertainment Series presents Equinox Little Big Band. Tow charming, young Southern gentlemen and their polished orchestra put a new stamp on big-band jazz with a touch of Motown, Ray Charles, and Johnny Cash.

25 – Kenneth Threadgill Concert Series presents Neal McCoy. McCoy has released 15 studio albums on various labels and 34 singles to country radio. His hits include “No Doubt About It,” “Billy’s Got His Beer Goggles On,” and “Wink.”

28 – 29 – Greenville Follies. An entertainment tradition comes to an end with this final year for the Greenville Follies. Enjoy the stage spectacle as neighbors and friends take the stage to entertain you in this song and dance extravaganza!

4 – Dallas Symphony Series presents Dallas Symphony Pops. Principal Pops Conductor Jeff Tyzikbrings an exhilarating program of American pops favorites. Enjoy the virtuosity of the Dallas Symphony in this brilliant, toe-tapping concert.

5 – Greenville Entertainment Series presents The Ronnie Kole Trio. New-Orleans based Kole combines charisma, elegance, and humor with his 21st century arrangements of Mozart, Ellington, Gershwin, and even traditional hymns. He’s truly a piano man’s piano man.

16 – The GMA presents Chase Padget in 6 Guitars. 6 Guitars is a pitch perfect blend of music, comedy, and characters. A single performer portrays 6 different guitar playing characters each sharing their own style of music including Blues, Jazz, Rock, Classical, Folk, and Country. During this 90 minute performance, each of the characters play songs from their genre while telling us the story of how the fell in live with their music and what music means to us all.
