Johnny Bush -singer, songwriter, and drummer - nicknamed the "Country Caruso," is known for his distinctive voice. This native Texan grew up on Bob Wills and His Texas Playboys and the honky-tonk sounds of artists like Ernest Tubb, Lefty Frizzell, and Hank Thompson. His career spans 6 decades, releasing 24 albums and 24 singles. Bush is best known for Whiskey River , a top 10 hit and Willie Nelson's signature song.
Almost 40 years after he first arrived in Nashville, Johnny Rodriguez is right back where he started coming full circle back to making the kind of honest country music that he and his fans always enjoyed. In 2010, Johnny was recieved the Pioneer Award by the Institute of Hispanic Culture as the first major Hispanic singer in Country music. In the past 40 years, Johnny has released 35 albums and charted 45 singles, with 6 of those going to #1 including You'll Always Come Back to Hurting Me, Ridin' My Thumb to Mexico, That's The Way Love Goes, and Just Get Up and Close the Door.
