The GMA is Open with Social Distancing Protocols in Place

The GMA is working with the guidelines set forth by Governor Abbott to ensure a safe experience for everyone (performers, volunteers, staff, and audience).  Please be aware of the following to make your experience at the GMA most enjoyable.

Face Masks are required while inside the building.

Hand Sanitizer is readily available throughout the GMA – please use it or wash your hands.

Please do your part to keep 6 feet distance between your group and another group while in the lobby, hallways, and stairs.

In order to ensure social distancing in the venue, every other row has been blocked off.  So when you are looking for a place to sit and enjoy a show, please select any open/available row.  Be sure to leave at least 2 empty seats between your party and the next party.

We will be sanitizing all frequently touched surfaces multiple times during performances.

The auditorium is treated with a “fogging disinfectant” before and after performances.

Thank you for doing your part to ensure a safe experience for everyone in the theater!

Plan to Spend your Holidays at the GMA

The holidays are always a special time and this year, we have three great holiday experiences to help you celebrate!

First, coming to the GMA November 22 – 24, Greenville Theatre Works kicks off their 2019-2020 season with a Christmas Classic – It’s A Wonderful Life – Live Radio Play!  This beloved film comes to life as a live 1940’s radio broadcast, where the story of idealistic George Bailey unfolds as he considers ending his life one fateful Christmas Eve.  With the help of a reluctant angel – Clarence – George comes to realize that he really has led a wonderful life!

December 8, the students and parents of Studio A Dance and Gymnastics present their annual performance of The Nutcracker!  This classic Christmas ballet with Tchaikovsky’s beautiful music, exciting dances, and toys that come to life will delight all ages.  It’s a Greenville holiday tradition!

And then on Dec 14, The Vocal Majority returns to the GMA for their holiday concert – Believe – A Polar Express Christmas!  “All aboard” for a festive Christmas journey riding the famous Polar Express. This enchanted train picks up those who have lost the magic of Christmas and whisks them away to a place where they can Believe again. Celebrate with your family and friends as Vocal Majority shares songs of joy and merriment to make your season bright … “you have everything you need, if you just believe!”  In Act 2, you’ll be inspired with beloved and sacred Christmas songs performed by over 120 men’s voices that will put you in the Christmas spirit.

So, don’t miss out – make plans now to spend part of your holidays with the GMA!
